A periodic collection of websites, podcasts, and other digital content:
Gabe the Bass Player: a Monday through Friday daily blog about the music and entertainment industry – although some are about life in general. Gabe is a musician and event producer based in Nashville Tennessee. Each post is short and to the point and often relevant to magic performances.
Magic Show.Tips: a daily blog about magic by Louie Foxx. Louie is a full-time magician with an extensive list of credits. His posts vary from dealing performance challenges to book and magic reviews to an occasional podcast link interviewing a variety artist. I first met Louie when he was a young man behind the counter at Market Magic in Seattle’s famed Pike Place Market almost 30 years ago. He’s a great guy.
The Magic Book Podcast: a new entry in the magic podcast industry. UK magician Adrian Tennant interviews the authors and creators in the magic book world. The first three episodes are with Julie Eng of Magicana and now the head of Genii magazine, ebook publisher, Chris Wasshuber, founder of Lybrary.com, and Marco Pusterla, a professional magician, historian, and publisher. It’s off to a great start. Available through your favorite podcast app.
