Today marks the two year anniversary of this blog. One hundred and twenty two posts in total. Not too bad; although it could be better.
As I said in my first post, this is the resurrection of the blog, Magic and Conjuring, I ran for a few years on Blogger. I drifted away from Blogger as it came under the umbrella of Google. I tried social media – Facebook, Twitter, and even flirted with Instagram. While they had their good points, the social media universe was becoming toxic. This was many years ago before the current outrage driven algorithm swamps today.
This is perhaps why I created this space and why I don’t have any tracking set up. There may be some but it’s only what WordPress needs. I haven’t been able to detect any myself.
Compared to the social media world, this space is mine. The content is mine as well as the look and feel of the page. A tech-oligarch doesn’t control it.
