September 28 marks the third anniversary of the relaunch of my blogging platform. When I started my first blog, magic themed blogs were quite popular. Unfortunately it seems that many have faded away. It may have been the rise of social media or the loss of the initial enthusiasm or the author got too busy or distracted.
Magic blogs still exist today however it seems that most live on Substack. After looking at the platform, I decided to go the independent route. I wanted to ensure that I controlled my content. I wasn’t interested in tracking readers or monetizing. Most importantly, Substack hosts some non-magic authors that I didn’t want to be associated with.
My posting schedule has been rather erratic over the three years. I apologize. I believe the most Sundays schedule works best. I will work to maintain it.
Since I don’t track readership or have any type of tracking beyond WordPress’s defaults, I don’t know how many read these pages. I saw one post on a magic discussion forum once. I was surprised and honored. If you do visit and read, I am so very much grateful. Thank you for stopping by.
