Recently Andy at the Jerx called out a zen koan in a Vanishing Inc product question and answer. I’m guessing the joke was unintentional as the VI crew is a humorless bunch for the most part.
The complaint about not being able to download your own copy of trick instructions is justified. Creators close up shop, move servers, or whatever. You paid for the trick and you should be able to get a copy.
Fortunately for the Apple side of the world, there’s a solution: Downie. It’s an inexpensive and easy to use tool that allows you to download video and audio from most websites. It works extremely well. It has an extension that plugs into your favorite browser. Additionally it has a built in browser that allows you to log into password protected sites directly. It’s a Swiss Army knife of audio and video tools. Highly recommended.
